Research and DevelepmentResearch & development and product designOperating in a dynamic and highly competitive market, ITALPRESSE devotes many resources for technical innovation and new product development to satisfy the ever-changing needs of its customers. Technical departmentsThe PRESS DESIGNING DEPARTMENT, operating in conjunction with the technical/sales department, takes care of development, designing and engineering of presses and pressing plants. CAD-CAM systems are used for direct connection with manufacturing operations. Over 20 degreed technical designers and a Phd work in this department. The SERVICE DESIGN DEPARTMENT studies and designs all the components of a pressing line with exception of the press itself, such as material handing equipment, press loading/unloading devices, gluing and brushing equipment, stackers and feeders. The ELECTRONIC AND SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT designs all the electrical systems, the electronic controls and the operating software for each ITALPRESSE machine. An efficient integration of the above three departments is paramount, and is achieved through daily meetings and supported by a state of the art information system with net connection for all the employees. Two additional offices complete the designing process of ITALPRESSE PRODUCTS. - A SPECIAL PRODUCT SAFETY OFFICE has been instituted in order to analyze and solve all safety issues of ITALPRESSE products. This office works all day in the study of risk level of new products and design of protection and safety devices to conform to CE Safety Standards. - A TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION DEVELOPMENT OFFICE produces all the technical support information such as operation and maintenance manuals, schematic diagrams, foundations and electric/electronic supply drawings. These documents are shipped with ITALPRESSE products to the customer's factory. |
