To ensure products of quality, ITALPRESSE manufactures all mechanical components in its own factories.
Subcontracting is reduced to a minimum and is only used when our factory's production capacity is overloaded.
This decision provides us total quality control over the complete fabrication cycle, and allows very high flexibility in design and new product developing.
Italpresse invests more in capital equipment than most of our competitors. We're convinced that high-quality equipment is needed to build high-quality products.
Our manufacturing divisions are in four different locations, encompassing ten buildings with a combined 40.000 sqmt (430.000 sqft) of manufactoring space.

- CNC controlled robot welding centers are used to weld the cylinders and other key components. Everything is managed by computerized systems: all the welding parameters are constantly monitored and adjusted in order to maintain a consistently high quality.

- All the steel platens, frames and critical parts of our presses are machined on six large CNC machining centers capable of handling parts 14 meter (46 feet) long.

- A "unique" deep drilling system that can make straight bores through the steel platens up to 6 meters (20 feet) long, is used to create the heating circuit.

- ITALPRESSE standard hot and cold presses are assembled in assembly line fashon to reduce time and cost reductions.
- "Special" presses are assembled by teams of workers, responsible for the whole assembly cycle, from start to finish.

- The electric system department takes care of the wiring and production of electric and control cabinets.
PLC and PC controls are programmed entirely by ITALPRESSE software engineers, in order to fit the control features to the customers' requirements.

- The quality control department checks the respondance of each single component or assembly to the technical specification. Special procedures and instruments are used to accomplish this goal.
